About Me

I trained with the Clifton Practice Hypnotherapy Training school, considered a centre of excellence in hypnotherapy training, where I achieved the Diploma in Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (DFSH) and Hypnotherapy Practitioners Diploma (HPD).

I am registered with the Association for Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (AfSFH) and the National Council for Hypnotherapy (NCH) and abide by their strict codes of conduct. I am also registered with the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) – the independent UK regulator for complementary healthcare practitioners.

I have always had a strong interest in helping people to identify and achieve their goals. I started my career working in the Further Education sector tutoring young people and adults. I also have extensive experience providing careers advice and guidance to school leavers and adults. Working as a Solution Focused Hypnotherapist I am able to help a broader spectrum of people who require help getting to where they want to be in their life and make positive changes.

My interest in psychology developed whilst undertaking a BSc in Behavioural Sciences, where I particularly enjoyed learning about the brain and behaviour.  For me, it makes so much sense to able to apply the latest developments in neuroscience into my hypnotherapy practice to help clients understand the role their brain plays in developing long lasting healthy behaviours.

"It is with our minds that we create our world and our place within it: all the experiences that we go through - of happiness, sadness, suffering, beauty, anything - are given meaning and come to life in our mind. So understanding how your mind works, I believe, is the key to freedom, to happiness, to contentment and to overcoming challenges. It is the key to everything."
